Description

Quinsigamond State Park is made up of two locations: Lake Park and Regatta Point. Altogether, the state park offers facilities for swimming, sailing, picnicking, fishing, rowing and tennis.
One of the best rowing courses in the world is located on Lake Quinsigamond, it is 2,000 meters long.

Directions

The park is located on the Worcester/Shrewsbury line in Central Massachusetts.<br /><br />From the East/Northeast:<br /><br />Take Rte 495 to Rte 290 West. <br />Follow Rte 290W to Exit #22, Main St/Shrewsbury.<br />Take a right at end of ramp.<br />At second set of lights, take a left onto Plantation St.<br />Follow Plantation St. back under Rte 290 and then take a your next left onto Natural History Dr. (Natural History Dr. will turn into N. Lake Ave.)<br />Park entrance will be on your left at the break in the median across from UMASS.<br />From Boston/Southeast:<br /><br />Take MASS PIKE West (Rte. I-90W) to exit # 11 in Grafton, Rte 122.<br />Take a left onto Rte 122 North(Grafton St).<br />At the third set of lights take a right onto Sunderland Rd.<br />At the next set of lights take a left onto Lake Ave. <br />Proceed for 2.5 miles, crossing Rte 9.<br />Park entrance is on your right across from UMASS Hospital.<br />From West/Southwest:<br /><br />Take MASS PIKE east (Rte. I-90E) to exit #10 in Auburn, Rte 290.<br />Follow 290E through Worcester to exit #21, Plantation St.<br />Take a right at end of ramp onto Plantation St.<br />Take your next left onto Natural History Dr. (Nat. History Dr. will turn into N Lake Ave)<br />Park entrance will be on your left at the break in the median across from UMASS<br />From Northwest:<br /><br />Take Rte 2 West to Rte 190 South towards Worcester. <br />Follow Rte 190S to end onto Rte 290 East.<br />Take 290E to exit #21, Plantation St.<br />Take a right at end of ramp onto Plantation St.<br />Take your next left onto Natural History Dr. (Natural History Dr. will turn into<br />N. Lake Ave.)<br />Park entrance will be on your left at the break in the median across from UMASS
